William Allen "Bill" Bowhay ODESSA, TEXAS William A. “Bill” Bowhay, 88, passed away on October 21, 2025, in Odessa, Texas. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Bill was born on December 30, 1936, in El Paso, Texas, to William and Helen Bowhay. He attended school in Seattle, Washington, and Hobbs, New Mexico, and later married, Beverly Louise Turner. He worked for many years with El Paso Products and Huntsman Corporation and was a proud member of the Fellowship Lodge, El Paso Scottish Rite, Odessa York Rite, and the Texas Motorcycle Riders Association. He also served in the Navy Reserve. Bill will be remembered for his kindness, strength, sense of humor, and deep love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his son William Kit Bowhay, and survived by son Glenn Allen Bowhay, and daughter Christy Louise Garnsey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the El Paso Scottish Rite or Odessa Meals on Wheels. Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
