Mary (Chavarria) Gomez MANSFIELD God called home an angel named Mary Chavarria Gomez on September 6, 2025. She was born in Buena Vista, Texas on October 20, 1939 to Domingo and Agripina Chavarria. She married the love of her life Rosendo Lujan Gomez on February 13, 1955. She lived in Odessa, Texas for over 50 years with her husband and through their love for each other, they raised their family of five children. In 2008, they moved to Mansfield, Texas to be close to family. She is survived and will be dearly missed by daughters, Rachel Gomez, Irma Fisher (John), and son James Gomez (Anna); eight grandchildren, Michelle, Felicia, Sean, Shaunta, Jeremy, Tiffany, Jonathan and Mark Anthony. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of great - grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Rosendo Gomez; sons Rene Gomez of Mansfield, Texas and Mark Gomez of Odessa, Texas; parents Domingo and Agripina Chavarria; brother Helijadro Chavarria, and sisters Simona Jimenez, Crispina "Pina" Jaquez, Dominga Primera, Juliana Heredia. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Saturday September 20, 2025, at Ector County Cemetery, Rose Hill section.
